Warning: May induce tears

Last night, I was chatting with parikala , which was supposed to be about the doujins we were scanlating, when we ended up talking about Vocaloids instead. I told her that I couldn't stand the synthesized voices, but every now and then, when I hear them sing a good song, I just look for the Nico Nico version (random, real people who upload their "uttate mita" e.g. covers) and it's all good.

So, parikala links me to Campanella, a song for Gumi, and asks if the song had the same meaning as the video - we tried finding a translation around the 'net, but didn't find any (there probably is one, but google-fu did nothing). So I tell her I can translate it, since I noticed there were a lot of repeated lines anyway.
